story report: "The Dreamquest of Unknown Kadath," by H.P. Lovecraft

So like theres this guy Randolph Carter and hes in Dreamland or something and hes looking for this city that he likes but the gods wont let him see it and so he decides hes going to find unknown Kadath which is like this mountain where the gods live so he can ask them about where to find the city which seems kinda dumb to me cuz their the ones that wont let him find it anyway so he goes through the woods and there are these little goblin thingies called Zoogs and they take him to Ulthar and he meets some cats that eat the Zoogs and then he goes to this other place and gets shanghaied and taken to the moon by toad people but the cats come and rescue him and they can jump through space so they take him back to his hotel room and so then he goes to this island and rides a zebra and sees this face carved up on a mountain but not the mountain he's looking for but anyway the night-gaunts capture him and tickle him a lot isnt that gay but anyway so they tickle him subtly and then he escapes and the ghouls help him go through a tunnel back to the woods he was in before but first they have to escape the Gugs and they do and there in the woods and he heres the Zoogs plotting against the cats so he tips off the cats and then he goes on to this other city where his friend is king but he's retired and he tells him not to go to unkown Kadath but hes going to anyway and so he goes to this other place on the desiderate ship cause this ship is going to where their are people who's face's look like the one on the mountain he saw befor so he knows its where the gods live and so he goes there and then he goes to the hideous plateau of Leng and gets captured by a slant-eyed merchant on a yak who takes him to see a veild priest and then he escapes and hes in the lost city of Sanka and finds his ghoul buddies being tortured by the toad things from the moon and so then he goes underground and finds the other ghouls again and they rescue the ghouls and then the ghouls are friends with the night gaunts so they help him fly to unknown Kadath but first theres this big battle between the ghouls and the toad things but anyway they go to unknown Kadath and the ghouls all disappear and Nryarlthpe Nyharlthl Nylatharp anyway the crawling chaos comes in and it looks like hes going to help him get to the fabled city which is really Boston and Providence and Salem and stuff but really Nyoptlahapthhar is setting him up and so this hippocephalic terror of elder night flies him up into the abyssal sky but then he realizes that Nylatha Nylarthap Nyhalpthartop that one guy accidentally told him how he could escape all along and so he thinks theres no place like home theres no place like home and he plummets through the sky and hoary Nodens laughs triumphantly as he wakes up in his bedroom on Beacon Hill.
