I'm sure some of you who follow the world of the Higgins Armory already know about that event, of course.

There's also an ultra-lame (to judge from the one time I've been to it) medieval festival at Hammond Castle this weekend. It's much cheaper, I imagine, but I probably won't be finding out exactly how much so.o

the hammond festival is pretty lam, but it's fun if you are with a group. the ne_rennies community is planning a group trip, which dancer and i will be part of.

the thing at higgins does seem neat, but like most of their events, it's a bit too pricey for the neatness level.
