Jan. 9th, 2002 10:00 amAlas, the carnival is over. If my Monday of guilt-free reading Tolkien appendices, catching up on e-mail, and baking bread counts as a carnival. Today is a day off work, but must be studious.
I suppose I could work on expanding my conference paper, which will eventually end up as a "sample study" along with my prospectus and, ultimately, be part or all of a dissertation chapter.
What sounds more enticing however is to take one of the less challenging books I need to read over to the local cafe.
I'm listening to a very strange compilation that involves, among others, Jane's Addiction, the Dickies, Exploited, Rozz Williams, and Bo Diddley.
