I have just wasted entirely too much time on the lame side of the web.

I want to create do a parody of baby-webgoth journals under a name like "darkfetishkitten666" (assuming that one isn't already taken on whatever service). As if I don't have enough time-wasters already.

I found a website -- I don't remember the URL, but I suspect you could find it on your favorite search engine -- featuring "Darkened Pagans of the Lunar Cycle." What the hell is a "darkened pagan"? Certainly not someone who has been tanning, to judge from the pictures.

We could make it a whole community! Everyone would probably have to have some variation of "cat" in their names, though.

Darkened pagan is like blackened pagan, except you don't use as many spices and don't cook them for as long. It's a step abouve seared pagan, though.

darkest regards,

Silas is my hero.

On the ride home last night, I thought that we could either make it a community, or else create one or two babygoths and share the passwords around so that any of us could post in the persona of "gothickbondujkittyn666" or whatever, after establishing basic facts in common. But that might be too complicated.

In college my then s.o. and her friends drew me into a conspiracy to plague someone that had annoyed them (some sort of library carrel turf war; I can't remember exactly) with irritating notes from a fictional "Marci" (that's with a heart over the "I"). We'd leave the notes on the disputed carrel. My job was to take the agreed-upon text and write it in a big flowy cursive on a scrap of notepaper, since for some reason I was better at it than any of the conspirators who had actually been teenage girls. But don't hold that against me.
