For some reason the boss didn't expect me to come in today. Perhaps I should have stayed home, then. But here, at least, I'm in not in my ovenlike apartment. (Also, as he didn't expect me, he didn't bring anything new for me to do, so I can work through a menacing pile of older stuff.)
