J. reports from the LAN gaming dens of France (from which one can cheaply access the internet) that French dorks yell "merde!" and "putain!" and "ooh la la la la la la!" at their computer screens. For some reason I think that's marvelous.

funny, my experience has been that the French yell perfect English obscenities at their computers and spare their own sacred tongue. ;-)
