Added a third section. The HTML is weird because of the number of disparate bits of software I translated it through until finally I just went in and tweaked it manually. As I am not entirely competent, it looks wonky on my favorite browser (iCab), but works okay on IE 5.

It's on a geocities page, so probably after two or three people look at it there will be quota problems. Try again later if you care.

You have drawn me noticeably heavier than I am, but the glasses and facial hair are fine. Also, I've never worn a toga.

i saw that this was in the works a few days ago. At least you had the link up. Such fun! something for Cthulu (if we can ever get a group to play here in New Haven...)!

It's based on a picture of you from the future.

Well, they do that weird ne-clause thing, but timeo at least has an accusative object, like those pesky Danaos dona ferentes.

As for fearing, I fear lest my constant interruptions of myself on that page to be allegedly clever do more harm than good from a pedagogical standpoint. And also that my explanations of answers to the exercises don't really explain as well as they might...

So if anyone out there, especially without a previous knowledge of Latin, can confirm or deny these fears, that would be spiffy.

(I'm so insecure.)

Is that a tomb FOR darkness, like the darkness is dead and stuff?

I started it last year some time and got as far as the first two parts and about halfway through the third; last week I started up on it again and decided I'd link it from my journal.

I haven't looked at CoC Latin lately... Hmm.

Seems that my thank-you message didn't post.

So:

Thank you!

That'd be swell! 3m@i1 m3!!11

(Although to be fair I have some ennui space, as well, but I've never made the intellectual leap required to use it.)

This is SO great, and very useful. My classics degree was so long ago that I am continually grabbing a dictionary to try to answer my DM-husband's Latin questions. This is better. I hope you don't mind if I add you as a "friend"? I can always use more gaming humour and latin in my reading life. I'll understand if you don't add me back though as my own blog is almost entirely about gardening and cooking which you do not seem to be interested in.

Thanks - glad you liked it!

As for gardening and cooking, I'm quite fond of the results of both.
