cosmicserpent and damiel and a friend of mine from high school and I digging through a bunch of e-mail, mostly porn spam (shown as images on the television screen in my mom [my mom]'s living room), to find damiel's recommendations for investing in the stock market. Not far away there was a lion sleeping, split in half but still alive and healthy; this was unremarkable.
J. came into the room and asked my help in making breakfast for everyone. I handed the remote control to the high school friend so he and the others could watch something on television while we were in the kitchen. "Don't bother," he said; "you don't get any good channels anymore."
