Feb. 3rd, 2002 03:49 pmSo I *almost* was going to go out tonight. J. has left for a few days, some museum-related workshop in the Big Apple, I don't work until Tuesday, and am facing a couple days of more or less complete isolation from the human world. Also the Big Sporting Event of the day holds no interest for me. Thought I might go into Somerville/Cambridge for big screen Indiana Jones action at the Brattle, silly boardgames and then a reportedly low-key recurring goth night I haven't attendedyet.
But I have already missed the transportation I would have needed to catch for watching the movie, and lethargy and ennui wash over me as the time where I would actually need to change out of study clothes and go board a bus for the other stuff approaches. There's also that whole being dependent on train or bus schedules for getting home, which isn't horrible but always a good excuse for laziness.
Alas.
And, I suppose, I really do need to study.
J. and I went to the Asgard, a new Irish pub in Cambridge, on Friday evening. Nice decor, and they were playing the Cure, so yay that. Too much vinegar on the goat cheese salad, though.
