In my dream last night, [livejournal.com profile] bunicula and [livejournal.com profile] dancer were developing a bat-winged succubus doll (life-sized, or at least grown-person-sized) for the Adult Market. It had all the features that you would expect, but it also had some Furby-like speech capabilities and could even change facial expressions (in the one I saw demonstrated at a launch party hosted by [livejournal.com profile] rojagato and [livejournal.com profile] mashuta, its face turned into a red glowing mask of rage and it exclaimed, "I've always hated you!"). (I must add that any other "demonstrations" took place off-screen, as it were; this was just a Weird Dream, not a Sex Dream.)

Some party-goers worried the doll would be too suitable as a host for real demonic possession, and that with all the "lifelike" bells and whistles the user would not realize this until too late.

Despite the electronics, it was supposed to be machine-washable.

I'm sure that this was a point that I mentioned often.

This could be the idea that finally launches Gothco!

A bit like the "Suicide Girl" series at Sexy Losers that involves necrophilia, sex dolls, revenge, and magic fairies. The demonic possession version would probably be a better movie.

Hey, that could really sell nicely! And that demonic posession risk is not a bug, its a feature---if you are addressing the correct market segment.

Wow,

That is truly bizzare, man.

Is this because of the bantha horns? :)

Hopefully this is just one of those cases where "sometimes a cigar is just a cigar" (or in this case, a dream is just a dream), because yikes...where would one even START to try to interpret it...

And why don't I ever get the totally weird dreams? Dammit, I want a bizarre dream to shock and amaze everyone!

Mashine-washability is key.

Presumably one removed the electronics first, or maybe it was just THAT COOL.

Clearly we'll need to get you on board for marketing, then.

I can simply shrug in confusion.
