quislibet- Wrote several pages but not enough about the trial of Silius and Sosia and the "faction of Agrippina." (Go to this translation of Tacitus and use your browser's "find on page" option to search for "Cethegus" and read the next few paragraphs, if you care at all what I'm talking about.)
- Heard a North Shore gothling on Essex Street trying to get the attention of her spooky friend "Stahm" (as in a "thunda-stahm").
- Went to a Sunday evening mini-LARP. I hope our regional storyteller follows through with his probably joking charity idea, not that I could afford to participate.
- Heard the news that J. has a new niece (who was born a few days too late to share a birthday with her older sister, and a few hours too soon to have that whole "Pirates of Penzance" thing going on.)
Just now, I learned about this, which is cool (work-safe Tolkien postage-stamp link).
