MP3 list, OKAY???
Mar. 2nd, 2004 11:14 amHere's a damn list of MP3s randomly played in shuffle mode by iTunes posting which has ruined my morning by causing me to pay more attention to what was playing than my work and then when I tried to paste it into my browser to post this message it caused the computer to crash and then I started it up again and opened my browser and it crashed automatically and then I tried it different ways and there were more crashes and finally I was trying all sorts of different things that weren't working and I was getting really angry and my frustrated vocalizations were probably making the neighbors a little curious and I was persisting through sheer self-sabotaging stubbornness and then livejournal wouldn't accept my password and I kept trying and trying and then finally it did and now at last here the fucking thing is even though it is of almost no interest to you whatsoever and at this point not even to me come to think of it and I'm only posting it because otherwise the morning would be a total loss and so here's something I can look back on in my old age assuming that I can still access my livejournal and haven't led a neo-Luddite revolt.

(*1) The title includes the parentheses, I'm sorry to say.
(*2) I have several novelty covers of this song, but do not own the original. Huh.
(*3) iTunes is in a Orlande de Lassus mood, I guess. -- "Missa Surrexit Pastor Bonus TWO: Just when you thought it was safe to go near the Holy Sepulchre."
(*4) "sancta": So it is written; but it sounds like they're actually singing "sancte," which I'm more willing to accept.
(*5) And it's too bad about that title. And the lyrics, too, probably; something about losing souls.

Date: 2004-03-03 06:57 am (UTC)That's very cool; I've bookmarked it for future exploration.
I went to the Oracle:
- Your question was:
Will I finish my dissertation in a timely fashion?
- The oracle has answered:
"Debase the currency."
More obscure than the answer I half-expected, which was "not if you keep playing around on cute Greek mythology sites."
