quislibet1. I have eaten tasty mystery chicken. The tastiness is not a mystery: that comes from its general tageen-ity with carmelized onions cooked in honey and raisins and almonds and stuff. The mystery comes from the fact that neither J. nor I know how it got in our freezer, sealed in plastic bags of a kind we don't buy.
Anyway. I hope it wasn't a trap.
2. Every now and then someone still comments on that damn "rub that smooth skin" line from the "Baby Got Back" translation I did in October, despite my various editorial efforts to discourage same. There are something like ten pages of comments on that post, and by far the largest number of these that don't just say "ROFL" concern people's theories on what the hell Sir Mixalot was saying. I've had enough of it! Enough, I say! Apparently not even the lyrics page from his official site is enough to convince some people that the matter is closed (since my "please read all ten pages of comments before attempting to contribute to this topic" insert hasn't dissuaded them)! Gah!
So it goes.
I'd say, "Some day I'll actually have to listen to that song" just to provoke you, but in fact I heard it once already in December or something.
2a. Last night I dreamed I whimsically snapped my right pinky finger in half like a crayon, so that I could attach it to my big toe as part of a LARP costume. There was no blood. It wouldn't stay where I put it on my toe, so I reattached it with a Band-Aid and returned to typing.
2b. An aside to Sara: J. will be bringing you some music tomorrow, with several good songs and one really terrible one (but it's from Bergamo!). If you're online right now, you'll know this even before she does!
