So I was going to do this in Latin, the way I used to do my non-electronic journal, geek-like, as a way of keeping up my Latin prose composition. But now I'm probably not, at least not most of the time. It takes lots of time I should spend doing other things. I've had the account for a couple of months now, but I have yet to sit down to compose a first post *latine*.

C'est la vie. Or, if you prefer, sic est vita.

I have just added a bunch of people to my previously nonexistent friends list. When I first became aware of livejournal, through discussion of it on a mailing list, I looked here to see what the fuss was about and started checking it occasionally, reading every now and then posts from people on said list or friends from the local game-geek group. A lot of those people have been added here, and will soon no doubt see my username crop up in their "friend of" list. And I'll add more, no doubt, as I remember to.

Until now I hadn't added a friends list, as I was planning to write in Latin and to remain anonymous. But as I checked in every so often as a procrastinatory measure, usually via his friends page, since he knows a lot of the same people I do in both circles, I started feeling weird about having these snatches of information about people they didn't necessarily know I had. So I'm coming clean.

They'll probably figure out who I am rather easily, I suspect.

The pictures will help, of course.
