Mar. 22nd, 2002 10:34 amSaw my friend and colleague A. for the first time in a long time, the only other grad student who entered the program the same year I did who is still around (everyone else has dropped out, transferred, or finished and gotten tenure-track jobs). He's teaching in a private middle school, making sure they get a dose of Trotskyism with their ancient history.
Today is a glorious day off. I think I will go to Beverley, read something relevant but in English in the cafe with the cooler music and better people-watching, and stock up on tasty pseudo-Belgian beer at the liquor store on Cabot St.
