Dull today. Proof corrections for two different issues. We have received vaguely interesting new submissions -- a review of a book on Graeco-Roman necromancy and an article about the rather bitter scholarly debate in Germany about Bronze Age Troy that, the author argues (according to the abstract), is tied into social tensions in the wake of German reunification -- but I doubt I'll get a chance to read either this week.

I'm working my three days this week straight through to Wednesday, so that Thursday morning J. and I can go up to Unity, ME for the Common Ground Fair. What this means, of course, is that I won't have much study time this week, except in the evenings. Alas.

Wednesday night I must babysit the writers' group at the Athenaeum. We'll see if there are any notes left for me chiding me about the state of the library after Saturday's game. I don't think there will be, unless that one neighbor complained about noise.
