In my dream last night wannabe-superheroes were being lured by false distress calls to fight a CGI-animated pro-wrestler voiced by Eminem on a live television show. Somehow I was one such, and Bat-Manuel and I decided that we would pass on doing that and instead opened up a superhero-school in an old warehouse.

I think we were also going to run a superhero temp agency as well.

I have spent too much time today trying to fix the English of Dutch people. Normally this is not a factor in my life, but by coincidence this is round two, involving a different Dutch person.

Alas.

From tomorrow until Monday, however, I will need to worry only about the English of Ohioans (*), but I grew up with that and so it should be okay.

I will see you all in these pages again come Tuesday or so, when I have returned from a non-specific-occasion-oriented visit with family (sooner in the unlikely event that Those At Home have decided to pay for an ISP again). Meanwhile poor J. must drive all over three states for reasons of book promotion, hoping it doesn't rain so much since two of three promotional events are in the Great Outdoors.

Hmm. I guess I'd better set about 15 yahoogroups to no "e-mail."
