Oct. 17th, 2002 11:12 amYesterday evening, contemplating how much she hated wearing rain-soaked clothes to a point, she said, beyond rationality, J. asked me, "If you were a character in Amelie, what likes and dislikes would you be introduced with?"
It was hard to think of some that were quirky enough to fit the film -- I mean, sure, I hate it when buses are late, I like eating ice cream -- but those didn't seem right. Closer: I dislike beard hairs that have grown thick and sharp. I like selecting clothes to pack for travel.
I'll have to ponder a better answer.
In the meantime, if you're familiar with the movie, what would your characteristic likes and dislikes be?
