"Even though I am not worthy of such a favor, Queen of Armenia and of my heart, and even though being only a modest and mortal knight I try to exalt a divine beauty, yet accept my ready and loyal will which adores and kneels only in front of your greatness, and grant that for you I may vanquish the Greeks now, I who desires later even to vanquish the gods in heaven.")
German word of the day, used by my boss in a letter to the author of an article about the Floridoro, in reference to this passage:
Himmelstürmer
... which will now be the name of my German speed metal band, if I had one, and if the name is not already in use.
(My industrial band will, of course, still have the name Schallgeschwindigkeit.)
