April Fish!
Apr. 1st, 2003 03:07 pmMarch went out like a lamb, all white and fluffy.
While it was doing so, I defended my dissertation prospectus and not did my topic get approved (with some reasonable worries that perhaps my dissertation could mushroom out of control if I'm not careful) but I was also complimented on my "preparation, clarity, and intelligence." And that was *yesterday*, so I don't think it wasn't an April Fool's prank.
And not a single comment about how fucking long it has taken me.
There's other stuff that has happened since Friday or so, but I expect I'll write about it all tomorrow when I'm slacking off at home and not sitting here at work dealing with how ridiculously difficult it can be just to copy some files.
