So we watched "Gigi" last night and will not need to watch it again.
Still, Maurice Chevalier hams it up uncomfortably, and there's at least one really good line (above).

Unconnected to that spectacle but simultaneous with part of it, our big cat, curled up next to J., suddenly began staring at my head in wide-eyed alarm, and made a quick but creeping and wheeling exit from the couch to the floor, never taking her eyes off me. J. speculates that I am a body-snatcher. All I can think is that I had neglected to put any of the usual copious styling products in my hair after an evening shower, and the cat couldn't cope with the novelty.

Anyway.
