Davy Jones' locker, &c.
Aug. 5th, 2004 10:52 amWell, some things worked out reasonably well yesterday; Swiss Air came through with a cheap feline-enabled flight. They even let me have the 400-dollars-cheaper Expedia fare.
Of course, my mind is full of zillions of things that can still go wrong there, and that's even before we get to "the plane could end up in Davy Jones' locker."
( Let us pause for a moment to contemplate that phrase )
But now I actually have a plane ticket to go to France. October 7. It's, like, real.
That's terribly frightening.
Finally, and unrelatedly: The "view from the window" is an electronic journal/photoblog classic. Below, what I can see when I turn my head to the left here at work!
