J. and I came home to an unfortunate sight last night. If you click on the cut-link below, you will not thank me. Wait until after lunch.

A pile of cat vomit teeming with a couple hundred ants.

Only ants were harmed in the making of this livejournal post.

well, it IS Salem.

I was somewhat disappointed in the lack of picturage.

I was thinking that it wouldn't be so bad if they took the whole mass away. THat would be a public service.

Little ants or big ants, btw?

Thank you for the title, because I was able to scroll past it before it was Too Late.

Former cat owner glad NOT to be the one cleaning that up.

Little ones (I say many days later).

Naked midgets in furry ears could have been eating the ants and vomit while sodomizing themselves with your thesis.

Actually, that wouldn't have been so bad, because it would mean there WAS a thesis. As long as it wasn't my only copy.

Big ants are definitely scarier because they make whatever food they're moving around on seem alive at first glance. Small ants are actually easier to get rid of by yourself. I found where they were coming out of and put a bait trap right in front. They would then follow the trails that the others did to go in and get some yummy tastng poison to take back to the nest. In a matter of days, there were no more ants. Which was lucky because it was about the time that my cats learned that the bait traps make good hockey pucks.
