So I told the boss/advisor man I'd have a draft of my conference paper tomorrow. I told him this Monday, when there was still a chance this might happen. Now it's Thursday, and it's looking less likely, even without this electronic diversion, or the computer euchre game I played while eating lunch. No one seems to play euchre around here. Used to be a high school fave back in the Buckeye State...

In other news, I am reminded (indirectly) that I can, if I want, see nude pictures of an ex online for a small monthly fee. So that's mildly disconcerting.

I dreamed last night that, by law, all vegetables had to be pasteurized before you could buy them. J. and I went to a potluck with uncooked, unpasteurized vegetables from her dad's garden and everyone was happy that they could eat vegetables that hadn't been cooked into slime.
