Dominating animals! I don't think I've received any ads for *that* site yet.
Anyway.
J.'s grandmother turns 90 Saturday, and, contrary to usual practice, she learned yesterday, they're actually going to celebrate the birthday on the day itself (and not, say, three months later when the family can all gather and celebrate other birthdays that have happened since all in a lump). Alas, that means I shall not be there for it, as I have a preexisting engagement that might involve waving a lemon juicer around in a threatening manner. I should find some sort of gift to send along though, preferably one that is not tea, jam, or a book, as those are pretty much what everyone always gets for J.'s grandmother on every gift-giving occasion.
