quislibetMy elves will largely go into battle unpainted. Except for the shields, which are unattached at present but painted.
For banners I've cut out purple and gold paisley ribbon from the Christmas supplies and glued it where appropriate.
Oh - speaking of Paisley: no mint in tsatsiki, although I have made it that way. Usually yogurt, cucumber, olive oil, garlic, dill. Sometimes I throw in something like basil or oregano, esp. if I have it fresh.
I was up til 4 last night game-geeking with little brother (who is just out of high school), and Ma didn't bother to call me for church. No fundamentalism for me, at least until tomorrow night's Christmas Eve service.
It's actually all right unless the sermons stray into political matters. Not my scene at all, but the music is done well -- if people are going to sing crossover-country church songs at you, they should at least be talented, and that's the case here.
