Apr. 24th, 2003 12:47 pmBecause of the proximity of Easter, I suppose, with its bunnies, 'Little Rabbit Fufu' (*) has been stuck in my head off and on. Which makes me think how, alas, I won't be doing my Changeling game this summer because I have enough going on as it is, and so will have to put off for another occasion finding an excuse to insert this dialogue somewhere, prompted by the existence of one of Mighty DiPesa's NPCs we have so far not really used:
"So," says This Year's Evil and Insane Duke (TM), "you will not tell me where the [ring/sceptre/fiendish ritual/missing scientist/pirate lair] may be found."
"Never!" says the Plucky Childling.
At a signal from the Duke, a leather-clad rabbit pooka steps forward, hefting a Cold Iron crowbar. The Duke affects a look of reluctant menace.
"You leave me no choice. Allow me to introduce you to Thumper. Like the legendary Fufu, he likes to bop things on the head. I may not be a good fairy, but nonetheless I have... turned him into my goon. Ah ha ha ha."
Anyway.
---
(*) I understand there are regional variants, with the protagonist called Little Bunny Fufu, or with the word "bop" replaced by "bash," for instance.
