Don't forget the Hospital Seeks Klingon Interpreter (http://www.cnn.com/2003/US/West/05/10/offbeat.klingon.interpreter/index.html) story.

Even though it turned out to be less than true (http://www.cnn.com/2003/US/West/05/13/offbeat.no.more.klingon.ap/index.html).

Too bad -- I actually had no trouble believing that there were patients who could speak only Klingon.

I had another idea for a reality show recently -- Star Trek fans made to live as Klingons for a few months. That would be excellent.

I know, I could weep. I only questioned the total number of patients there could be in that catagory.

You know, I wonder why the SciFi channel hasn't jumped on that one yet? BTW, did you catch the Warrior Challenge last week? Those boys were in heaven.

I hadn't realized "Warrior Challenge" was on yet, but I see that I can catch it tonight after "Buffy."

[livejournal.com profile] badriyaz mentioned the other day, when I brought it up on a local mailing list, that my Klingon show might be too high-brow for SciFi's reality programming.

The internet ready toilet made me wonder how they'd keep the keyboard sanitary.

It did remind me of the bathroom in the old WHRB studio (back when it was in the basement of Memorial Hall before we got booted so they could convert the area into a student center). It had speakers in there so you could listen to what was on air (important if you were the DJ) and it also had buttons to work the "ON AIR" lighted sign similar to what was in the station. I thought that putting the sign in there was genius.

I guess you'd have to have keyboard covers in a dispenser on the wall. Otherwise, just cover it with toilet paper.
