Soooo much TV...

quislibetJ. and I got cable yesterday -- just basic service, with no premium channels except one or two included by the goodwill of our cable guy, but still, suddenly we get four times as many channels as we used to. So yay, we can now watch Buffy and Angel, for instance, since our reception was mainly limited to the old Big Three networks plus PBS. So we channel-surfed for a few hours.
And then we went to a dinner-and-TV party with some other people, catching up geek-like on most of the Angel episodes we'd missed and enjoying the company and lentil-riffic meal, followed by Too Much Ice Cream.
A slothful but pleasant day, in general. Today however we must pay for it by redoubling our work efforts and, in my case, aching all over from several hours of sitting on couches...
