So much gaming
Jun. 22nd, 2003 01:49 pmOn Friday, Sarcy came down for an absolutely ludicrous "Aberrant" game; my brother and his pal wanted stupid superhero action, and that seemed to be the obvious game to use. I was stressed out at first that I was going to run a game whose rules section I had not, in fact, ever carefully read, but, given the way the game went, that turned out to be, once the slow character creation process was done, more or less irrelevant.
Afterwards I made Sarcy sleep in the bathroom.
Yesterday, the Mage LARP. I got to shoot a Nephandus with a ray gun, which is, after all, the point. After the game was over and everyone had departed, my guests and I killed zombies on the XBox.
Low-key visiting today, as brother and pal will be leaving around 10 tonight to drive back home to Ohio and so are doing lots of sleeping.
This enthralling report is now finished. It is with regret that I must now leave you to resume your drab and banal little lives.
