I just did that "slut" meme quiz thing and was surprised to learn, e.g., that I had kissed some 40 percent of you (as a group, I assume, rather than forty percent of each of you). This is especially surprising when there wasn't even a visible "kiss" column to check off when I took the quiz.

I was perturbed by that as well. I wonder if there's some sort of calculation involved, or just assigns a random percentage.

If there was some way to pitch out communities, my score would have been less virginal, but I'm wondering how it could account for the large percentage of people I've never met (I assume they mean met F2F in meat space) whom I have seen naked and/or topless.

Um, there's a "Made out" column, which is I guess where they are extracting that data from.

The quiz you took may have been skewed. I've seen a couple different versions, one with just making out and another with both kissing and phone sex added. The kissing/phone sex one didn't have those labels at the top of the grid, though there were columns for them.

Where's the other versions? I took user's version too and was thinking it was lacking in certain departments...Not that I have kissed that many of you anyway. ;P

mrzero's journal has the version with extra categories. you just have to remember which columns are the extras and move the rest over accordingly.

ah, ic, you didn't mention that in you original post... Maybe they figure if you have had sex with them then you have kissed them.... Did you put anything in that spot? ;-)

I didn't. The only thing they can possibly be extrapolating from, given the numbers involved, is an assumption that LJ users kiss most of the people they've met.
