quislibetA few nights ago "I" was some kind of Power-Ranger-esque action hero, and there was a woman on the Evil Power-Ranger-esque team we were fighting that I was hopelessly in love with. Hilarity ensued, but not, I am sorry to say, romance. Violence ensued as well, such as when the bad guys had rigged a VCR to fire videotapes as projectiles, and I battled my way in cheesy slow-motion with a plastic sword up to where the VCR was and stole the basket of cheap videotapes -- and then had to call a time-out to complain when they started using my mom's good ones.
Last night's dream was even more absurd, I think, but now, sadly, all I can remember about it is that I woke up around 5 AM thinking, man, I'll never remember all this, but it's a good one.

Good grief: I'm going to Europe tomorrow. Although I'm meeting J. in a train station in France, I've decided, in the end, not to wear a fedora.
