Aug. 28th, 2003 11:22 am... would you think, especially when there's a whole open platform in front of you, that it was a good idea to stop dead on the top stair during morning commuter rush hour in order to look at your map of the subway?

Date: 2003-08-28 09:28 am (UTC)i did just have a run-in with one of their driving counterparts. this woman decides it would be a good idea to make a u-turn on broad street at the point where an incoming side street intersects. so essentially she practically drove into me head on. she was hoping to make a parking space she just missed. instead she got irate looks from me, and in the process a parking space opened up right in front of her _had_ she continued in the proper direction in the first place. since she didn't, i got the spot (which so happened to be RIGHT OUTSIDE MY OFFICE'S FRONT DOOR! rock on karma.)
