I forgot to tell you about the walker.

Among the things to be sold at the yard sale on Saturday was J.'s grandmother's old walker. An elderly woman who came to the yard sale walking with the aid of two canes saw it and said, "I need that!"

And then, in the chaos of a busy yard sale that is swamped with shoppers even though it still has an hour or so until it actually opens, she just strolled off with it (so to speak).

Ah, the shocking excesses of our elders.

Well, maybe if there's free time this weekend we can drive back up to Keene and chase her down and demand a dollar or something.
