Reading over the journal of a new LJ friend (hello!) I came across a mention of an article I'm going to have to read for my dissertation. Further reading of her entries identified the venue in which I will find the article. This only goes to show that it's important to read LJ every day.
J. and I had pasta last night. I mention this only because it was a surprisingly unusual event; grad student couples tend to consume much more of the stuff, as indeed have we in the past. But that still doesn't necessarily mean that it is interesting for you to read about, so let's move on.
This Ladytron song is sort of sounding like the Breeders, only more electronic, of course.
Was that more interesting than pasta? I just don't know anymore.
Off to check the "friends" page, and then it's back to slogging through Franz Römer's "Kontrastfiguren in den Annalen des Tacitus" (A.Ant.Hung. 39, 1999, 297-312).
