Had to happen eventually
Oct. 24th, 2003 02:53 pmSomeone just sent me a link to the Greek translation of "Baby Got Back," knowing only that I was a classics geek who might appreciate such things. So far no one has forwarded me the link to my own journal yet, though.

Date: 2003-10-24 04:39 pm (UTC)Dude! You've updated your Latin for Gamers site (http://www.geocities.com/quislibet2003/gamers/latin1.html) and didn't tell me! You are a god, if a cruel one.
I still think you ought to write an entry for mors, mortis, by the way. (I seem to remember that's one of the very first things I ever wrote in your journal, however many moons ago.)
P.S.: One of the "next" links at the bottom of the first page doesn't work, though the other one is fine.

Date: 2003-10-25 07:16 am (UTC)But I am an hour or so of dissertation-avoiding work away from having a third page that starts off, as per your suggestion of a while back, with mors (I began it back then, and left it unfinished until about a week ago), and a bit further away from a fourth page that makes fun of slected World of Darkness Latin, which I'll have done, uh, some time before White Wolf ends the setting next year. When those are done I'll mention it here.

Date: 2003-10-24 05:07 pm (UTC)do you have any idea how many times I get "How the Goth Stole Christmas" forwarded to me every xmas season?

Date: 2003-10-25 07:29 am (UTC)I'll remember not to forward it to you. Or else make sure to do so. One or the other.
Last week someone forwarded me (via this journal) a link to my old geocities site, so that was fun.
(P.S. If you and D. are bored tomorrow, come by our place -- we'll be out in the yard all day trying to get people to buy our castoff knick-knacks and old Cleopatra comps.)
