round on the ends and high in the middle
Dec. 3rd, 2003 11:41 amHooray for my home state!
Unrelatedly, I dreamed that
uncletang and I were unable to find affordable pants in a subterranean sporting-goods bazaar in Connecticut, located deep beneath the home of
burkean and
cinemama. Guns, on the other hand, were cheap and plentiful, but we didn't buy any.
Speaking of dreams, the other morning I was sad to wake up and realize that I didn't, in fact, own a book about ancient puppetry written and illustrated by Tim Burton. I was perfectly pleased, however, that the alarming results of the Home Cancer-Scanning-Ray Machine were only imaginary.

Date: 2003-12-03 09:21 am (UTC)oHIo indeed!
btw, i highly recommend the rt. 17 nystate/i-86 route to ohio. well, i guess you'd have to meet up with it somewhere else as i get there from i-90, but it goes through chataqua & the seneca nation - while going through seneca, they have river signs in both english and the native language (iriquois? seneca?)!

Date: 2003-12-03 09:42 am (UTC)Thanks for the route recommendation -- although I never make the trip by car (or so far haven't), but I'll pass it on to the occasional visiting family member.

Date: 2003-12-03 10:04 am (UTC)ah then, you're lucky you haven't done the drive. while i do get to see lots of wildlife (alive even!): owls, hawks, bald eagles (and other eagles), deer, turkeys, fox, and other glowing eyed creatures -- the drive sucks much arse when it's snowing buckets of lake effect snow and trucks don't feel like acknowledging your presence and rights to be on the road w/them. (although the new way doesn't have as many trucks...it's quite picturesque, actually!)
