(no subject)

Back from a pleasant lunch at Bukowski's with Foe and Whitney; I'm not sure if the former has a livejournal and I can't remember the username for the latter, so you don't get to see their names in bold with little faceless head icons, and for that I am deeply, deeply sorry.

Yesterday J. received an author's copy of her book on food tourism in New England, which will be available next month, and so we broke out the Westport bubbly. Now it looks as though she and her ma will be doing a follow-up book for northern California over the next year and a half, so I guess we'll have to take a trip there.

And now, back to the joy of work deadlines.
