Feb. 7th, 2003 01:03 pmLast night, while watching MST3K ("Cave Dwellers," which I have long had a copy of a copy of a copy of, but now have just a copy, thanks to Christmas), I made another Ether-prop that, in December, I didn't have ready, and it's bitchin', if I do say so myself.
Today, I find it difficult to read M.H. Dettenhofer's article on "Frauen in politischen Krisen zwischen Republik und Prinzipat." Not only because it's in a foreign language, but because I can't concentrate.
I wish I knew when I'd be defending my prospectus. Looks like it might not be until after BU's spring break (second week of March, I think).
Dork-tastic weekend coming up: Mage LARP tomorrow, old-fashioned AD&D Sunday. At some point between we need to make donuts: I will start them a-risin' before bed tomorrow night, and when J. gets home Sunday morning from her family home in N.H. she'll fry 'em up proper. And then we will eat them all while battling crazed assassins in the streets of Sorathmari (that ancient port town on the border between human and elven lands), or whatever it is I end up having them do.
(I hope the weather permits travel the next two days.)
But at the moment, I guess I need to turn my attention to Roman chicks, until it's time to go to the Y, come home, shower, and then go next door for dinner with our kindly landlords.
