Mar. 7th, 2003 11:04 amOr, as it turned out, I will NOT (have) read the rest of D.C.A. Shotter (etc.), but instead (have) watch(ed) "Sabrina" (the A. Hepburn/H. Bogart flick, not its remake or the show about the witch) while trying to figure out why the printer wasn't consistently working with the iBook. (*)
I just wish AMC didn't have this annoying habit of letting idiotic people come on before and after commercial breaks to misquote their favorite lines from the movie you're currently watching.
Oh, and I also wish I could concentrate on my work.

(*) The answer: because, silly, you're using it with OS X without having downloaded the 15-meg updated driver that *might* fix the problem. But it works just fine in OS 9, and every sort of software update I've made lately to fix a problem on any one of three machines that I regularly use has made something like three different problems crop up, sometimes without actually solving the original one. Blah.
