I came home from a good day at the LARP to find my mother had forwarded me an invitation to my 15-year high school class reunion in August.
Yikes.
I looked over the list of "missing classmates" to see if I knew any of them. Yep, know him, know her, I remember that name but nothing comes to mind, and -- oh, there's ME.
Huh.
Obviously the invitation found me without difficulty, so I wonder what the criteria are. Probably just that they had to send it to my mom, I guess.
Anyway. Gripping stuff, to be sure.
Oh: will I actually GO?
Friday, August 1: Cocktail Party / Ice Breaker at (a bar). Shoot Pool, Throw Darts & Reminisce.
Saturday, August 2: Dinner and Dancing at (the local Eagles club). 30 bucks per person.
Sunday, August 3: Potluck picnic at the local park. Drinks and games provided.
... probably not, unless the people I'd want to see anyway convince me I should.
