- I read yesterday that taking aspirin can reduce the possibility of a first heart attack. Does that mean it won't happen at all, or that you skip right to the second one?

- Do non-SF/Fantasy shows have geek followings? Well, maybe soap operas, come to think of it: but are there people out there that write Joey/Chandler slash or argue viciously in an online forum about the merits of the previous night's "King of Queen" episode or have usernames like "iheartraymond4evah" or roleplay in some "West Wing"-inspired furry MUSH? Or, more to the point, are there people who approach the fandom scene from that direction first? I note for the benefit of spriggan that there are no google results for http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=Do+non-SF/Fantasy+shows+have+geek+followings%3F&btnG=Google+Search.

- I dreamed last night that several theology students and I were holed up in a church while a demon-possessed mentally handicapped woman stalked and killed us one by one. But I wasn't worried as I had seen the episode before.

- Speaking of fan geekery, 'Angel' spoiler-ish )

Did you guys see this yesterday?

"The Red Sox' best hope for victory may very well lie with a Salem witch and the trap she laid to capture the pox hanging over the Olde Towne Team."

We saw Cabot interviewed about this on THE 10-O'Clock News last night.
