Well, thanks, those of you who posted kindly comments yesterday.

After that time-wasting post, I went on to the more important business of game geekery, the highlights of which included (a) battling a Nephandus (my character's 5-point Enemy), to whom I didn't give the satisfaction of a speechy confrontation or even my full attention; (b) interrogating a demon in the form of Barney; (c) watching the Masquerade go down for the count on live TV.

Today, we helped some friends move a whole lotta plants.

The week ahead: J. has convention-protest-observation orientation and cow lessons; I have an editing nightmare to work through; we both have lots of academic work to do. Wednesday we might try to see Reverend Glasseye and his Wooden Legs.

I'd like to go watch the gothic Jell-O wrestling tomorrow, but the logistics don't really work out, unfortunately.

At two different cons this weekend (one in Florida, one in the UK; I'm sure you'll be glad to know that the Masquerade died in Florida) there were, as far as I can tell, Vicissitude-shoggoths fighting the Justice League of the Camarilla in the streets. Hilarity (and news coverage) ensued.

Yes, Daemonicus has been cast out into the outer darkness, etc. He went down under a rain of violent blows after Zap's dad sacrificed himself to destroy the Black Hand of Hotereb. Zap chose to pay more attention to his dying dad than to the grim fork-bearded foe.
