How did it get to be after noon already?

LARP today. Last one ever, for my character, whether he survives or not.

I should tidy up a bit in case people come by before we all meet at the Athenaeum. (It's amazing how much crap can pile up even when you have very little in your apartment.) But with the rain perhaps they will just go strait to the site.

Today I have accomplished:

- reading livejournal.
- drilling airholes on the backs of two pet carriers that had such holes only on three sides.

... uhm, that's largely it. This is a problem.

I did some other stuff, here and there, of late, like dinner with termofart on Thursday and going to Target yesterday and arranging for an insurance ID card and so forth. J. has started paperwork on a small apartment in Lisieux, but there are bureaucratic hitches that may not be in place in time for her actually to get it; she's also arranged to look at two more early next week.

Well. Off I go; 50 min. til game and things I should be doing.

Knowing nothing about larp I suggest - too late - that you should have killed off your character in the most dramatic manner EVER, so that it would have would have taken on legendary status that later you could have banked in on, if you ever returned. But like i say, I know nothing (and even less just now).

Well, fortunately, I still need to come up with an excuse as to why my character won't be around for the end of the game, so while I won't be able to do something dramatic in front of everyone, I have a good idea of something I can do (the details of which are unlikely to interest anyone at all outside the game; I aspire to be one of those rare gamers who is aware of that, but I don't always succeed in keeping that in the forefront of my mind).
