May. 15th, 2002 10:09 amSo I ran into ayun on a green-line train today. Note here the importance of prepositions, gentle reader. For instance, changing "on" to, e.g., "with" completely changes the meaning of the verb and thus the whole sentence, and might cause shock and alarm and questions about what I was doing controlling the train in the first place. But fortunately, the preposition stands, meaning that all is well but that in actuality it's really not particularly noteworthy, especially for those of you who see her all the time, nor will anyone really take the time to think, my god, what are the odds of a chance meeting with someone you know while riding the T. But in any case we had a pleasant conversation about school and du ll jobs.
Good "Buffy" last night. I think they've handled the nerd-trio plot rather well this season. Although I won't object if next year they return to more of a Monster-of-the-Week format, at least more often. Especially since, as J. pointed out to me, "Buffy" and "Angel" are usually pretty good about believably advancing overarching plots while facing freak-of-the-week opponents in the same episode, unlike, say, "X-Files" (or at least when I used to watch it a couple of years ago), where the Big Plot episodes and the random monster episodes were entirely separate.
Anyway.
