arcanus, or indeed any of the other prizes either. But I suppose the point of a charity raffle isn't really to win things.
But damn did the blue denim bartender woman mix strong, if inconsistently priced, drinks. J. actually had to go back and ask if she could please have a little more tonic in her g&t.
So I understand that renting out the American Legion hall is pretty cheap, including bartender. (I am not suggesting that the bartender herself can be "rented out," for concerning this matter I have no knowledge.) Oh, to have a LARP with a cash bar. But I suppose that would be problematic.
Ugh. I often wish that my desk were not a mere 10 feet from the cat box, even if it is in a different room.
