So the guy who killed my old neighborhood chum Shane was apprehended in Texas on Wednesday, perhaps on his way to Mexico just like in the movies. He was still driving Shane's car, as news reports all week suggested he might be. They spotted him at a roadside rest stop and caught him after a chase.
