We went to Restoration Hardware yesterday to buy a bat-shaped doormat and ended up getting a comfy chair for the living room as well. It was there and relatively affordable, especially on sale, we've been wanting one, we had a station wagon right outside, and we have money now that we won't when J. returns to grad school in January.

So hooray for furniture.

That's what I consider newsworthy at the moment. I guess I should do some prospectus-writing now.
