This is the sad thing. Not that I really knew the guy except as a pooka and a vampire or two in some LARPs. One of those people you think it might be cool to get to know better, but you don't.

What little I did know of his real personality seems well reflected in the fact that he was cracking jokes about his brain getting too big.

That is very sad. I'm assuming from context that he taught at NOCCA? That's the New Orleans high school for the performing arts. It seems like a cool place. Small damned world.
