Tired of this cold
Nov. 16th, 2002 02:15 pmWhat I said. I've had a cold for a week now, and I'm rather eager for it to go away.
To that end, staying home tonight rather than going out into the world, with apologies to
damiel. Tomorrow, however, I am geeking away the day at
mishak's, as said individual, along with J. and others who have not, so far as I know, accepted livejournal into their hearts, so that I cannot annoy
spriggan with a longer list of lj-user-tags, to wit, the Quivering Messiah, "Winston Smith," and -- well, Ralph, who has no snappy nickname I can think of -- anyway, I have lost the grammar of this thing, but what I mean to say is that we're all playing old-school AD&D tomorrow. Which means that I have an excuse soon to stop editing a horrible-to-edit but otherwise at least interesting article on Greek influences in Sabianism in order to finish planning for the game.
Tapas tonight, so we may use up our small potatoes as well as some sausages and a bit of our dried fig supply, which I will happily eat unless I've eaten too much of the fresh bread J. baked today (our "terroir" sourdough, which J. raised from backyard grapes), topped with sweet cream butter -- a real danger, but when you're sick you need to keep up your strength, don't you know.
